Customer.io

Prerequisites

  • A Customer.io account with API credentials (Settings > API Credentials)
  • App API key and Site ID
  • Webhook or reporting webhook access for event tracking

Connecting Customer.io

  1. In liftstack, go to Settings > Integrations > Customer.io
  2. Enter your App API key and Site ID
  3. Configure HMAC validation for webhook security
  4. liftstack verifies the connection by reading a sample profile

How it works

liftstack writes variant assignments as Customer.io attributes on each person profile. Use Liquid conditionals in your email templates to render the correct content based on these attributes. Engagement events flow back via Customer.io’s reporting webhooks.
